Volunteers must check in to the volunteer coordinator at the beginning of their volunteer shift so that they are credited for their duty. More information in the 2010 Volunteer Position Guide
As many of you already know Regattas are always in need of volunteers. Every season at GVYRS registration, all parents/guardians of rowers are required to provide a volunteer bond in the form of a cheque and sign up for one volunteer activity per registered rower.
If after signing up you are unable to attend at the date/time that you signed up for, it is your responsibility to find another rowing family to swap dates with or to fill in for you and you must ensure that they fulfill your shift.
* Umpire & Safety Boat Drivers are essential to the safety of the rowers !
