2024 REGISTRATION

This year’s registration deadline is Friday, September 19th.

Teacher Sponsors at participating schools coordinate registration for the Fall High School Rowing Season. Please get in touch with your school’s Teacher Sponsor or Athletic Director for more information.

Registration Steps:

You must follow three (3) distinct steps to complete the registration process. Use the 2024 Registration Guide to support you in the process. All registration steps must be completed by September 20th to participate. Yellow indicates mandatory steps to get your athlete onto the water!

1. Sign Up With Teacher Sponsor

• Each school will have a rowing meeting within the first two weeks of school...so listen to the announcements! Attend the meeting and sign up for the team!

2. Volunteer Bond

•  Follow the payment link to complete your volunteer bond. Here's how it works: You WILL NOT BE CHARGED when signing up here. If you meet your volunteer requirement, we will cancel the bond. If you don't meet the volunteer requirement by season end, you will be charged ONCE ONLY!

• Sign up for one volunteer shift (or confirm you will be forfeiting bond in the above step)

3. Sign Up For Rowing Canada Insurance

• Create An RCA Account, or login

  • ONLY if your child DOES NOT have one already

  • Register IN YOUR CHILD'S NAME

• ​Join Your School Program

  • Select the province "British Columbia."

  • Select "Greater Victoria Youth Rowing Society"

  • Join your school program!

  • Be sure to follow all steps including RCA waiver

  • No payment necessary 

The program fee will be invoiced directly to your student's account through your school accountant. Questions about how you will be submitting payment should be directed to the school representative overseeing your school team. ​
